Ryobi's 18v Jigsaw is a handy tool to keep in your aresenal around the house. I am not much into name brands of any kind whether its tools, cars, clothes etc. I just like things that work. I have used this jigsaw for cutting some sound deadening wall paneling. I just recently used it to cut down metal legs on a couch table as it was too tall for our couch. The main thing is to ensure you buy quality blades, I made the mistake of purchasing a cheap multipack of blades through Amazon. I made it through 2 cuts on the thin metal legs of the sofa table and the blade was already ruined.
